Biographical sketch [microform] (Typescript).

Born at Stobhill, Edinburg, Scotland, son of William Hunter and Elspeth Thompson. Conversion to Mormonism of his mother in 1844 and his own baptism in 1845; marriage to Agnes Martin, 1852; appointment as president of the Bathgate Branch, Scotland; immigration to American Fork, Utah, 1863; plural marriages; pioneer life; record of his wives and children. (Part of the Adams Camp Collection, Daughter of the Utah Pioneers.).
